goodbye Jerry GoldsmithGreat film score composer Jerry Goldsmith died last week at age 75. Like great bass players, the really great film scorers usually go unnoticed, because their music supports the film so integrally that it does not stand out in your mind as you watch. He was the Leland Sklar of film. Imaginative and subtle, really fitting and enhancing the film.
