but the revolution will go better with Coke than Pepsi
I've been such a blogslacker lately. I've been oddly busy, but that should prompt me to take the time to blog because it's a nice way to chill and sort things out a bit, clean the screen (a phrase I used to use for illict psychedelic activity, the times they are a-modified).
Bla bla bla. So what actually pushed my blog button today? A story on CNN's money website that Pepsi beat Coke in sales for the first time in 108 years. Why do I care? Well, I think it's interesting that it sneaked up like that, mostly unnoticed. But more importantly, I hate Pepsi and Coke is nectar of the freakin gods. I don't drink much soda cuz it has no redeeming value other than taste, and both sugar and bubbles are not good for ya. But when I get a soda jones there is not substitute for a tasty fountain McDonalds coke. Plus I've always been a bit fascinated with the whole Coke/cocaine history (like the Levi's/hemp history) now that we're in the age of the stupid drug wars.
It's February, liv's birthday is just around the corner, and I believe a 15 year old can get a driver's permit in West Virginia. I can almost smell my burning clutch as we e-speak. . .
