Kurt Vonnegut: So long, and thanks for the bokononisms
Listening to:Beatles, Happiness is a Warm Gun
Reading:the internets
Weather:46 and getting clearer
If you haven't read Cat's Cradle by Kurt Vonnegut, go out today on your lunch hour and buy that book. Then read it. If you don't enjoy the hell out of it, send it to me and I'll refund your purchase price, for real.

Here's a guy who could really get to the wicked stinking truth underneath it all and help you actually enjoy the revelation of it. I didn't discover him until well into my 30's, so I've still got a lot of his books yet to read. But I have yet to be disappointed by one.

He died yesterday at the age of 86, I believe. "Peculiar travel suggestions are dancing lessons from God."
