Forgot to mention, as Randy and I got into our cars to head home from das beer nacht on Friday, we each had public radio on. Sidetracks, the eclectic show by an aquaintance of mine Ed McDonald was playing. And he was about 2/3 of the way through playing Stairway to Heaven by none other than Dolly Parton.

Good to know you are out and about, drinking beer and eating ham with the Haymonds! Your music weekend sounds fantastic-if only I played an instrument-how 'bout the salt box shaken slowly back and forth? Or the triangle? I could do that! Hope all your days are well and that I get the chance to see you soon-you can bring the Dr. Ahhhh. PS loved the Kite Runner-really captured my imagination-he's got a new book coming out. R
