Lar's corn rows are lookin good. Food, not fashion. I helped him run some rope around and between the rows of corn growing in his garden to help prevent the stalks from getting knocked over by summer storms. And we smashed plenty of Japanese beetles along the way. Hey, Lar, have you ever considered the irony of how much you love the Beatles, and how much you hate the beetles? Yeah, I thought not.

On the way back to my house we saw a little red fox along the Arden Road. My four-legged elusive critter sitings count is record-breaking this summer.

Liv started her new job today! She's working at Cold Stone, the premium ice cream joint on High Street. Just when I discover my two wicked gall stones Oprah & Phil particularly dislike ice cream. Dangit.
